Likhang Puso (Made by the Heart) is a foundation established in 2020. Our focus lies in aiding the indigenous Mangyan community in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro through the improvement of their quality of education. We at Likhang Puso are passionate about achieving the goal of a better future for the Mangyans.

Through our partnership with Habilin, the teachers at the Gatol Mangyan High School in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro recently launched a reading program among the Hanunuo Mangyan students, where they reviewed the educational textbooks that they received!
Megan from the LP team flew to Oriental Mindoro to meet the community! There, she was greeted with utmost hospitality as the Hanunuo Mangyans hosted a celebratory dinner to welcome her. Megan witnessed the daily activities of the Hanunuo Mangyans, and also met up with some of their LGUs.

Malaki ang naitulong ng Likhang Puso Foundation sa aming mga estudyante na naghahangad na makapagtapos ng pag-aaral at makaahon sa kahirapan. Dahil sa Likhang Puso ay nagkaroon kami ng mga silid-aralan at mga libro na lubos naming kailangan. Dahil sa kanila nagkaroon kami ng pag-asa na kaya din naming mga Hanunuo Mangyan na umunlad sa buhay; na kaya naming lampasan ang kahirapang ito. Sila ang naging daan ng ating Panginoong Diyos upang kami ay tulungan na umangat sa aming buhay. Maraming salamat Likhang Puso, hindi po kayo mabibigo sa inyong pagtulong sa amin. Malaking tulong at biyaya para sa aming mga Hanunuo Mangyan na walang wala sa buhay. Marami pong salamat, naway humaba pa po ang inyong buhay at naway marami pa po kayong matulungan; naway gabayan po kayo ng ating poong may kapal. Kaming mga estudyante ng Gatol Mangyan highschool ay sumasaludo sa inyo!

Likhang Puso Foundation has greatly helped our students who dream of completing their education and overcoming poverty. Because of Likhang Puso, we were able to have the classrooms and books which we immensely needed. Because of [LP], we were given hope that we, Hanunuo-Mangyan people, may also progress in life; that we would be able to overcome these difficulties. They were the medium in which the Lord helped us rise from our hardships. Thank you so much to Likhang Puso, we will not let your service towards us go to waste. [Your help was] a great blessing to us Hanunuo Mangyan people who are lost in life. Thank you so much, may you live longer lives and go on to help more people, and may our blessed Lord guide you. We, the students of Gatol Mangyan high school, salute you!
